These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of monarchpaintingnj.com (the "Site") and your requests for services from Rios General Services LLC, operating as Monarch Painting and Home Improvement ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or requesting services, you agree to these Terms.
Who we are
Monarch Painting and Home Improvement is a trade name of Rios General Services LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company based in Washington Township, NJ. We are a licensed New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor, license NJ HIC #13VH09143600, and we are bonded and insured. See our entity disclosure.
Estimates and contracts
Estimates provided through the Site, by phone, or in person are free and are not binding until both parties sign a written contract. Prices in an estimate are based on the conditions we observe and the scope we discuss; changes in scope, hidden conditions, or materials you select may change the price, and we will tell you before proceeding. For home improvement work in New Jersey, a written contract will be provided as required by the New Jersey Contractors' Registration Act and related regulations, and you may have cancellation rights described in that contract.
Offers and discounts
Promotional offers, including 10% off any job over $2,500, apply only as stated, cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so in writing, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. The job total used to determine eligibility is the contracted price before the discount.
Workmanship guarantee
We stand behind our work with a workmanship guarantee. If a defect in our workmanship appears, contact us and we will inspect and correct it. The guarantee covers our labor and application; it does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, structural movement, water intrusion, settling, or normal wear, and it does not replace manufacturer coverage for paint and materials. Details are set out in your written contract.
Financing
Financing is offered through Acorn Finance and its lending partners and is subject to credit approval. We are not a lender and do not make credit decisions. Any loan agreement is between you and the lender.
Scheduling, access, and weather
You agree to provide reasonable access to the work area, water and electricity where needed, and to remove or secure valuables and fragile items. Exterior work depends on weather, and we may reschedule for rain, temperature, or humidity. We will communicate any changes promptly.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit and final payment, are stated in your contract. Unpaid balances may be subject to late fees and collection costs as permitted by New Jersey law.
Use of the Site
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation, or to submit false information through our forms. Content on the Site, including text, photos, and logos, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission. The Site may contain embedded third-party services (forms, booking calendar, review widget, maps, analytics) that operate under their own terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under New Jersey consumer protection law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept them.
