The family behind Monarch Painting and Home Improvement
Monarch is a husband and wife painting company in Washington Township, NJ (Gloucester County). Ashley runs estimates, scheduling, and project updates. Jorge leads the crew. Here is where the name comes from.
Why a butterfly
Jorge was born and raised in Senguio, Michoacan, Mexico, in the hills near the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve. Every fall, millions of monarchs finish a journey of thousands of miles and settle in those forests for the winter. Growing up next to that, you learn what the butterfly means to the people there: home, hard work, transformation, and family.
When Ashley and Jorge started the company, those were the four things they wanted it to stand for. A fresh coat of paint is a small transformation, but it is one you live inside every day. We take that seriously.
Who does the work
Jorge brings 20+ years of painting experience and leads the crew on every job: the prep, the cut lines, the spraying, the walkthrough. Ashley is the voice on the phone and the name on the estimate. She schedules the work, sends updates while we are in your home, and makes sure the job ends the way it was quoted. If you call us, you talk to one of them.
